Embrace the Autumn Vibes: Best Fall Adventures with Your Pup

As the summer temperatures subside and the warm and soft fall colors takeover, now is the perfect time to plan some fall adventures with your pup! Whether you want to enjoy the crisp morning air outside a local café, explore the open road to experience the fall foliage shift into vibrant hues of orange and red, or hit the trails for a good long hike, we've got some epic recommendations in store for your fall adventures. Sit back, grab a warm spicy beverage, curl up with your pup, and enjoy this guide to help you plan your best fall adventures with your pup!

City Strolls & Café Hops

Get your sneakers on and head out on the town with your dog to enjoy and embrace some of the best weather days of the year. You may need a light jacket, but your dog will be feeling fancy-free in their fur coat. Check out some wonderful dog-friendly cafes where pups are welcome on patios either for a cup of coffee or an afternoon spritzer. If you are based in Atlanta, head to Fetch Park and let your pup roam free and meet new friends while you enjoy a nice fall beverage and relax or get some work done. Additionally, Café Intermezzo is another awesome urban wonder where you can enjoy city sites, a tasty treat all while your pup relaxes at your feet.

As the leaves tumble and paint the ground, take a leisurely stroll through Piedmont Park. Make sure you swing by Sean's Heart of The Park to pick up a yummy concoction for you and your dog. And if you haven't been to Westside Park, grab yourself a sweater and go check it out. Westside Park offers gorgeous views of the city and your pup will enjoy experiencing new smells and sights.

Roaming the Open Road

Feeling a little more adventurous, hit the open road and head up to the Blue Ridge Parkway to enjoy the picturesque views of the Blue Ridge Mountain and back in the breathtaking autumn scenery. Pro tip, catch a sunrise or sunset at the top of the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina, it will be a view you never forget. Imagine the crisp morning air, the clouds simmering over the mountains, and the sprinkle of light dancing across the landscape – it is truly breathtaking.

While you are out on your adventure you may want to find some cozy accommodations for your road trip. You are in luck, because there is no shortage of dog-friendly AirBNB options located throughout the North Georgia Mountains and up into Western North Carolina. The best part, disconnect from the chaos of everyday life and enjoy the serenity of the woods. You will feel the way the forest absorbs the sounds of the city, leaving you with a sense of peace that comes with the fresh scent of the mountain air. Make your adventure a little cozier and toastier by finding a cabin with a fireplace for added warmth and puppy cuddles.
