A local’s hangout tucked into the Morningside neighborhood; Orpheus Brewing is a hidden gem for patrons. Reachable by way of the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail or Monroe Drive, it is the perfect spot to bring your dog for an outing. Orpheus allows dogs on both the patio and inside the taproom making it a great spot for sunny and the drizzly days.  The brewery boasts a wonderful taproom, a private event space, and 3 patios open to patrons with lots of picnic tables that are shaded by some of Atlanta’s enormous trees.

Orpheus brings in some amazing food pop-ups so you won’t go hungry either. Additionally, they host a variety of events including comedy nights and trivia. The spot is a haven for you, your dog, and even the whole family.

On a recent visit, Orpheus was hosting the amazing and delicious Mascogo Tacos which paired perfectly with some pilsners. As we ordered our beers from the extensive taplist, our dogs received a couple of treats at the bar, too. Orpheus Brewing is a go to spot for all seasons and palettes; enjoy with your best furr-legged pal.

Wild Heaven is a great place with friendly staff and a patio where you can relax all day. We visited the West End location, and it is a great choice for you and your furr-legged friend.  Seriously, this brewery feels like a second home with tons of tree cover to keep you cool on the patio and various seating options including tables and chairs, picnic tables, and Adirondacks.

With beer selections that match every season and palette, Wild Heaven is a must. Whether Decatur or the West End is closer to you, you are never too far from one of their awesome locations in the greater Atlanta area. If you stop by the West End location, be sure to grab a beer at the container bar outside and introduce fido to the staff members. They love seeing dogs and keep treats on hand.

During our last visit to Wild Heaven West End, Four-Legged Foodie, the dog food truck, was there for the afternoon and evening. While we enjoyed a few brews and some crispy Brussel Sprouts, we got Koda and Piper each a meal from Four-Legged Foodie and they were BIG fans! I had a chance to speak with one of the managers, and he shared that the dogs that visit are one of the best parts of his job. The atmosphere and the love for animals is vibrant throughout the property.

If you are new to Atlanta or have been a long-time resident of the city, you’ve got to check out Halfway Crooks Beer where the beer is always crisp and delightful. The brewery is nestled into a walkable small district making it perfect for an afternoon or weekend outing with fido. As you walk into the brewery the ambience is harmoniously balanced with the excitement of a brewery and the coolness of a cocktail lounge.

During our visit, we checked in at the front and met the hostess around back so we could escort our dogs up to the 2nd floor covered patio. The patio vibe was relaxed and adorned with string lights, fans, long tables, and even heaters for the colder months. It was a perfect place to bring the dogs for an afternoon out. The QR enabled ordering for beverages and food, made it super easy for us to maximize the chill. We enjoyed a burger, fries, and a few pilsners to top it all off. The pups got some pets from fellow patrons and even a few friendly assessments from other dogs that were hanging out.

Keep your eyes out for fun events plus new food and drink options from Halfway Crooks. They are always bringing up some amazing treats!
